Reshaping the Online Environment: The DSA Explained

As of 17 February 2024, the Digital Services Act (DSA) has become applicable to all online intermediaries in the EU. The DSA is a pioneering initiative designed to foster a safe and transparent online environment, ensuring the protection of fundamental rights for every user.

The DSA predominantly follows a tiered regulatory system. All online intermediaries are subject to general obligations, which are then supplemented by further additional special obligations depending on the type and classification of the respective intermediary service. For more information please check out our slides in which we break down the essentials of the DSA.
