After the airline company had drafted its whitepaper, we were engaged to advise on the legal aspects of their upcoming blockchain solution.

As with every IT project, it is important to make clear arrangements for the blockchain project as early as possible, for instance about the allocation of the intellectual property rights. Because personal data would be processed through the airline’s blockchain solution, and because blockchain is a relatively new technology, we advised to carry out  a Data Privacy Impact Assessment (DPIA).
